Minutes of the first workshop

Pamplona meeting, TRAINWIND
03 May 2012, 9:00-18:00


I.    The coordinator of the project – Mr V.Valchev  informed the team about the conversations with the NA Bulgaria. He pointed out that there are 3 important results to be realized before the 1-st year (1-st October 2012). These 3 results are:

1.    NA Handbook assembled and translated in 4 languages
2.    Transferred AND adopted training courses of the project e-WINDTECH OF CENIFER.
3.    Developed e-learning platform and uploaded the adopted courses for training in WET.


II.    All the partners received the next issues:

1.    The signed contracts;
2.     The first brochure in all partners languages;
3.    The first newsletter in English.
For the number of the received issues all the partners signed an acceptance certificates.


III.    The meeting proceeded with the next activities:

1.    Mr. Fergal McEntee – a representative of EMBRACE - as a leader of the WP2 – the NA Handbook, explained what was done at the moment. The questionnaires which are the base of the NA Handbook were sent to the EMBRACE from all the  partners except Syntra West and CENIFER. All the partners decided that the deadline   for sending the final version of the questionarries to EMBRACE is 11 of May. The leader of WP2 presented WP report on the results and pointed some important questions:

1.1.    Comparison data process of all the received national Handbooks;
1.2.    Strengths and weaknesses of different reports;
1.3.    Deadline for the final version;
1.4.    Translation the final version in all the partners languages;
1.5.    Questionnaires – will they be a part of the Report;
1.6.    Summary report – how to be summarized and what will contain;
1.7.    The next workshop – the date and the form of it - Skype conference;
1.8.    Changing the Gant Chart;
1.9.     The NA Handbook – discussion of the content – how to compare the facts from all the partners; how to measure the employment prognosis; what is the focus of the questionnaires(general or narrow point of view); what will be the conclusions at the end of the Handbook (employees and training needs, the market needs, the employment gaps). All the partners decided that the deadline for the final version of the NA Handbook is 1-st of June.


2.    Mrs Idoia Arteta – a representative of CENIFER – the hosting partner, as a leader of WP3 presented the following points:

2.1.    The results of the SPANISH questionnaire;
2.2.    The Gamesa good practices in methods of education ILUO.
2.3.     WP3 – transfer of the curriculum and syllabuses and their adaptation and translation; development of CDs;
2.4.     The results and experience of e-WindTech project, which courses will be transferred and adapted – their content ( they are separated in 5 Units, and videos and simulations);
2.5.     The choice of e-learning platform format  ( is it MOODLE) and the format of the courses – in Word or WBT ExpressPro;
2.6.    The courses design - the theory, what is the best format of the courses, the motivation of the students, the CISCO strategy for designing the courses.
2.7.     Points to be discussed:
2.7.1.    Need assessment conclusions – Mrs Arteta gave the structure of the Courses Analysis.
It has 3 components:
-    Theoretical content
Criteria for adaptation of this part:
important issues are possible mistakes, update, target audience, possible gaps according the NA conclusions, market research, objectives of each Unit;
-    Questions
Criteria for adaptation of this part:
important issues are possible mistakes, update, new activities, case of study, analysis based on quality and quantity;
-    Videos and simulations
Criteria for adaptation of this part:
important issues are possible mistakes, update.
2.7.2.    Tasks and responsibilities of each partner concerning the transfer and adaptation of the courses.
2.7.3.    Timetable.


3.    Mrs Valerie Vanheske – representative of Syntra West , explained the assessment tool and the content of the competence profile. She has to provide the Coordinator – TUV a template of the dictionary which is the base for prepare the competence profile till the end of May 2012.


4.    The coordinator – Mr Valchev pointed the main assignments to every partner which to be done up to 1 October:

4.1.    EMBRACE – the NA Handbook;
4.2.     Syntra West – competence profile;
4.3.    Industrial partners – APEE and ABC farms – adapting the learning objectives of the courses.
4.4.    TUV and CENIFER – participation in adapting the learning objectives of the courses.
4.5.    TUV – the e-learning platform.


5.    All the partners discussed the timetable and decided the following items:

5.1.    Analyses of the transferred courses – the end of June;
5.2.    Adaptation of the courses – the end of September;
5.3.    Skype meeting – 3-rd of July with main objectives: what are the conclusions of the analysis, what is to be adapted and changed the courses;
5.4.     Tasks -  TUV + CENIFER + Industrial partners – analysis conclusions, EMBRACE + Syntra West – join the adaptation of the courses.



04 of May 2012, 9:00-12:00

1.    Mrs Rozalina Dimova – a representative of TUV – made a presentation on WP6 – Valorization of the Project. She pointed the main and specific aims of WP6:

1.1.    The necessary issues – brochures, newsletters and conference – for the first year.
1.2.    Guidance and conference – for the second year.


2.    Mrs Svetlana Lesidrenska – a representative of TUV – made a presentation on WP7 – Monitoring and Control of the Project. She explained the possible risks associated to different functions and what are the necessary steps to manage with them.

3.    The hosting partner - CENIFER showed its training center – the rooms for theory and the training halls. Mrs Arteta presented passive and green house.

4.    Visit in the Navara Public University TUV team, CENIFER – a meeting with the Vice Rector of international relations,  Mr Taberna  – a Vice Associate Dean for international  relationships, prof. Matias – from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engeneering, etc. Mrs. Idoia Arteta presented the main issues of TRAINWIND project, its expected results and applications. The coordinator, Prof. Valchev made an overview of the TRAINWIND project, presented the TUV and its future initiatives in EU funding programes.
The two teams of UPNA and TUV discussed future relationships in the frames of FP7, Horizon 2020, LLP and other EU Grant programs, especially in the area of Renewables, Electronics and Communications.
