TUV

The Technical University of Varna (TUV), Bulgaria is the second largest technical university in Bulgaria. TUV has become a university with national importance.
TU Varna is a leading research center in renewable energy systems and software technologies. The TUV has long-standing traditions in research and education in RES - there are 2 master and PhD degree programs in RES. TUV has experience in RES based projects and is now running three projects in RES with a total budget of about 1 million EUR. One of the projects is:
‘Development of specialized scientific infrastructure for investigation of wind and solar energy potential’, 450 000 EUR.
The ‘Center for international projects’ manages these activities of TU Varna. Centers in TUV: ‘European renewable energy center-Energy-Nature’, ‘CAD-CAM Lab’, ‘Linux Lab’.
TUV collaborates closely with Municipality of Varna in projects dedicated to ‘Renewables and green engineering’.
