Laboratory of embedded systems
The embedded systems laboratory has been recently reconstructed (2007 ÷ 2009) and refitted with modern laboratory and educational equipment. Currently the capacity of the laboratory secures 8 work stations and allows educational activities to be carried with up to 16 students. The laboratory has also specialized scientific stations - a workspace for up to 4 researchers. Various companies had contributed to equipping the laboratory with modern and up to date laboratory and industrial samples. Such contributors include: Johnson Control Electronics - 20 000lv., Texas Instruments - 5000USD. Other equipment has been procured trough research project funding. A major project developed in the embedded systems laboratory is "Peplaser" - funded by the EU's 7th Frame Program. The general equipment of the laboratory includes:
Major subjects of study in the laboratory include: Microprocessor circuits, Microprocessor systems, Digital signal processing, Industrial electronics.
