Renewable energy sources laboratory

 The laboratory for electronic systems in renewable energy sources placed in room 603E the students are taught in several different subjects depending on their year at the University. Foreign students specializing master degree in New Energy Sources (NES) have the opportunity to participate in laboratory exercises from the subjects “Power electronic converters for solar energy”, “Power electronic systems for wind energy”, “Electronic converters for renewable energy sources”. Younger students still in bachelor degree from specialty Industrial Management gather knowledge in several subjects, “Industrial Electronics”, “Electronic Systems for Renewable Energy Sources”, “Wind energy” and “Solar Energy”.

The educational equipment of the lab includes, low power wind turbine (300W), photovoltaic panels (50W), Wind charge controller and Solar charge controler. There are available wind and solar assessment equipment with additional software for evaluation of the gathered data.
