Department of Industrial Management is in the structure of the Faculty of Mechanical Emgineering. The offices of teachers are located on fourth and fifth floor of the New Corpus (NUK). The department consists of 12 teachers - one professor, six associate professors and five assistants. All professors and associate professors have PhD academic degree.
Education in Industrial Management is held since 1991. when by a resolution of Academic Council of the Technical University of Varna, Protocol № 12 / 28.01.1991g. in accordance with the then Law on Higher Education has been created the specialty Industrial Management. It is included in the list of professional field 5.13. General Engineering, according to the National Classification of areas of higher education and professional fields. Department of Industrial Management is established together with the opening of the university under the name Economics, organization and management of industrial production. By a resolution of Academic Council of the Technical University of Varna from 30.10.2000 it is renamed into Department of Economics and Management and from 2016 into Department of Industrial Management.
