DOBRUDZHA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY 2010

 

BASE LINK IN THE STRUCTURE OF THE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF VARNA

 

            Development and confirming the statement position of the college in the field of high technical education in Dobrich town, Dorbrudhza region and Northeastern Bulgaria, thorough increasing number of majorities and professional directions for high education, disseminating the knowledge’s thorough brief-deadline courses and long-deadline courses for qualification the adult people and making research activity in the field of application the achievements the technical science in agriculture section.

 

THE CONDITION OF THE COLLEGE:

 

DTC is developing 22 years and up till now here were accomplished more then 600 people. It is made many auditory and laboratory base. The college uses 6 auditory rooms with more than 250 square meters.

The laboratory area for education consists of 11 rooms 8 of which are laboratories, 1 special computer room and 2 workshops.

 

TRENDS IN SUPPORT TO THE VISION

 

Ø  It is observing increasing needs of cadres with quality, specialized, technical education in the all production sectors;

Ø  It is stabilized and confirmed educational qualification degree “professional bachelor”, evidence for that are the dates of National statistical institute (NSI).

Ø  There is clear appropriated need of qualification and supplementary qualification of cadres with high education, hired in the agriculture and industrial sectors.

 

AIMS, RESOURCES, AND WAYS FOR ACHIEVEMENT THE VISION

 

v  increasing the number of majorities, as well modernized the teaching material of the majorities;

v  stabilizing and increasing the number of academic staff;

v  modernizing and development the educational equipment and material recourses;

v  improving quality of delivering knowledge’s;

v  elaborating the projects, which are financing by the European council, qualification and supplementary qualification through courses for specialists and unemployment people;

v  improving the connection with other high schools and research institutes’ in the country and abroad.

            The students of DTC are in the aged limits between 20 to 29 years old.

            DTC is situated in region Dobrich, that occupy third place on the number of people in the age limits between 20 to 29 years old and its geographical position is very suitable for potential students toward other Northeastern Bulgarian regions.

 

            The number of employment with educational qualification degree “professional bachelor” are 133 376.

The potential students in DTC are scholars’ of II and III degree professional qualification and those from common educational and specialization schools, that are 23 949 person’s for 2008-2009.
