Birthday: 07.08.1969. Birthplace & Country: Varna, Bulgaria.  Nikolay Todorov Kostov received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering in 1993 and a Ph.D. in communication sciences in 1999 from the National Military University of V. Tarnovo – Bulgaria. In 2001 he joined the Department of Radio Engineering as an Assistant Professor. Since 2009 he is an Associate Professor.

Teaching Subjects:

-         Signals and systems;

-         Computer-aided Design and Simulation in Digital Communications;

-         Telecommunications at the navy.

 

Fields of Interest:

-         Error Control Coding;

-         Digital Methods for Modulation/Demodulation;

-         Modeling of Communication Channels;

-         Adaptive Methods for Signal Processing;

-         Software Modeling and Simulation in Digital Communications.
