| Velko Naumov is born on 27th of June 1951 in Varna, Bulgaria. In 1976 he graduates from Technical University of Varna and becomes an automation engineer. In 2000 he receives a PhD in automatics. From 2002 on he is a professor at the Department of Automation. Velko Naumov speaks fluently Bulgarian, English, German, Russian and French. His scientific interests are within the following fields: IR thermography, monitoring and diagnostics, image recognition, distance learning, multimedia systems and applications. As university teacher Velko Naumov reads lectures. He also leads scientific projects. Currently he is Head of the University's "Distance education center", as well as Dean of the Foreign students' office. |
