| Emil Marinov is born on 22nd of October 1952 in Varna, Bulgaria. In 1978 he graduates from Technical University of Varna and becomes an automation engineer. In 2002 he receives a PhD in automatics. From 2006 on he is a professor at the Department of Automation. Emil Marinov speaks fluently Bulgarian, Russian and English. His scientific interest are within the following fields: electrical drives, vector dirves control, adaptive and neural control systems. As university teacher he reads lectures and instructs PhD students. He also leads scientific projects. He is a member of the Union of Automatics and Informatics. |
