| | "Digital Signal Processing" Lab. 526 NUK, phone: +359 52 383 585 | | The DSP lab offers contemporary working conditions as well as access to 5 workstations for software development. In addition, 5 OMAP3 based single board computers, Beagleboards, are available, kindly provided by Texas Instrumens. The corresponding peripherals allows for communication, mobile robot control and image acquisition to be implemented. | | The laboratory is used by teachers, undergraduates, postgraduates and PhD students for training and research purposes. The main research is focused on data transfer and data processing algorithms in general and more specific - on image acquisition and processing tasks for developing machine vision systems in robotics. The following subjects are taught at the DSP lab as part of the undergraduate programs: - "Signals and information theory" - "Microprocessors and microcontrollers" | | | | |
