College in the structure of the Technical University of Varna (CTU-Varna) has founded in 1988, with a name College of chemical industry and machine building.

In 1997 with a Council of Ministers Decree is converted to College in the structure of Technical University of Varna, as it has been authorized for three year education plan. Where the graduators could obtain professional qualification Specialist in specialties of Transportation engineering, Automation, inforamtion and control engineering, Chemical engineering, and Machine building.

There are many opportunities for the graduated specialists at industry such as transportation, manufactories, private companies and so on. Also some of the specialists find realization in many directions in all business areas.

Nowadays CTU-Varna, educates students in specialties of Automation information and control engineering, and Transportation engineering and technology.

Education plans have been converted since academic year 2003/2004 in accordance with the credit system, adopted in many European universities. This gives opportunities of the students to participate in student exchange programs. CTU-Varna is accredited as a essential division of Technical university of Varna.
