Laboratory of "Mechatronics"

lab. 523 NUK

Head of laboratory:
eng. Lubomir Aleksiev

The aim of the laboratory is the preparation of highly skilled industry capable to design, build and maintain mechatronic control systems based on programmable logic controllers. The laboratory is equipped with a model of an automated assembly line, composed of five stations MPS-205 Mechatronics, which provide technological operations submission, testing, assembly, press and sorting.

In 2014 the laboratory has been upgraded with new seven MPS stations manipulator Mitsubishi and two new robot type Robotino manufactured by Festo. Demonstration of the capabilities of the system can see the page of Students club "Robotics and Mechatronics in YouTube.
